Haliburton County provides free Internet access and publicly available computers to the community, at all Haliburton library branches. Additionally Haliburton County and our local Municipalities provide free wireless Internet hotspots at many locations throughout the county (in most cases Wi-Fi is available outside of these buildings and available 24/7).

Internet and Cellular Expansion Projects
The Eastern Ontario Warden's Caucus (of which, the County of Haliburton is a member) is focused on filling a vital infrastructure gap in the region: modern high-speed internet service. To fill this gap, the EOWC has created EORN (Eastern Ontario Regional Network), which is working with the EOWC Inc., the Provincial and Federal governments, and the Eastern Ontario separated cities and First Nation communities.
