2021 Load Restrictions

Update:  2021 Spring Load Restrictions (Half Loads) will be lifted from County of Haliburton roads on Thursday, April 29 2021. The following County Roads are affected:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 39, 48, 507 & 648.

In a joint decision, the Township of Minden Hills, Municipality of Dysart et al,  Municipality of Highlands East, Township of Algonquin Highlands and the County of Haliburton will be implementing Spring Load Restrictions (Half Loads) as of Monday, March 15, 2021.

Spring Load Restrictions are enforced to protect Ontario’s highways during spring thaw, when road damage is most likely to occur. Please watch for and obey signage.

The following County Roads are affected by these Restrictions:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 39, 48, 507 & 648-with the exception from CR 10 west to HWY 118.
