Barrier Aware Programme
The Barrier Aware Programme is an initiative of the Joint Accessibility Committee to assist local businesses in the County of Haliburton to an awareness of potential barriers to providing the goods and services they offer. Upon invitation, and at no charge, the Barrier Aware team will assess the premises and provide advice on ways to remove barriers to accessibility within their organizations.

Customer Service Training
The Barrier Aware Team will provide Customer Service training upon request to any organization in the County of Haliburton. Organizations who have participated in Accessible Customer Service include Canoe FM, the 2011 Senior Winter Games Organizing Committee and volunteers, the Northland Faith Church, County staff, Municipal staff & Committee members.
