Funding Announcement: Upgrades to the Haliburton County Rail Trail

The County of Haliburton is happy to have been selected as one of the 15 communities supported by the Investing In Canada plan, an opportunity via joint federal, provincial and recipient funding. As a result, the County will receive $107,250 (federal) and $89,366 (provincial), combined with $71,509 (2021 budgeted) for a total of $268,125.
The project work includes improving the Haliburton County Rail Trail: Granular overlay for 30 kilometers of the trail, 15 benches installed, 500 meters of barrier,...
